Started March out with a bang, inshore fishing was fantastic. Reddrum were biting fiercely using live bait (shrimp and mudminnows) on a Cajun Thunder Weighted Oval Click Popping cork, drifting them along grass lines and under docks with solid structure. Then the lovely Charleston weather decided it was spring time finally and started to warm up consistently. This made the creek temps rise very quickly which has thrown the inshore bite for a loop. We are still utilizing docks and lots of underwater oyster structure which is pulling in slot size reddrum just not in the numbers we are used to. We look forward to the up coming days so the water temps can level out for the fish to start biting strong again.
