About our inshore fishing charters:
- Inshore fishing is simply just saltwater fishing within land.
- We have two types of inshore fishing for our guests to choose (depending on season):
- Creek Fishing - year round, more hands on, lots of consistent casting and working your bait around grass lines, oyster beds, and docks. Very similar to large mouth bass fishing. We utilize light tackle with popping corks and live bait with a few occasional bottom rigs if needed. The species we target when inshore creek fishing are reddrum, trout, black drum, sheephead, flounder, and occasionally others. Great for beginners as our fishing guides enjoy passing along their knowledge.
- This will be your best opportunity for keep-able fish inshore, however we do follow the SCDNR size and limit regulations for our waterways.
- Harbor Fishing - great for large groups, bottom fishing in the amazing Charleston Harbor. Great views of the city and historical monument and battlefield sites. We utilize heavy tackle with large weights and live cut bait; targeting "bull" reddrum (20-40 lb fish!), as well as our multiple different shark species. Our 2 hour fishing trips listed above are for Harbor Fishing only. Harbor fishing is seasonal, as when the water temps get too cold the sharks and bulls move to warmer water.

About our nearshore /deep sea fishing charters:
- Depending on where you are from, you may classify our nearshore fishing as deep sea or offshore; the reason is you are fishing away from land. You will be 15-20 miles off the coast of Charleston.
- Deep Sea fishing is really neat, as the water is clearer away from the coast.
- We will fish around the Charleston nearshore wrecks and target lots of amazing species; this does fluctuate depending on the time of year: cobia, spadefish, amber jack, bonita, barracuda, black seabass, trigger fish, vermilion red snapper, dolphin, reddrum, and many others. Nearshore is the best opportunity to take home meat.
- Our prices include the fuel, which is why the nearshore rates are higher than inshore.
- The only contingency of nearshore/deep sea fishing is with our 25-27 ft boats, the seas do need to be suitable for the safety of yourself and the captain. If the seas will be too rough, we will offer the option to switch your charter to an inshore fishing trip, reschedule if able, or cancel at no cost. When scheduling it is best to have an extra date in mind just in case weather does not permit.
